Licenciada en Artes Plásticas en la Universidad de Valencia. Estudios escénicos en la escuela Jaques Lecoq en París. Grado superior de estudios escénicos en el Instituto del Teatro de Barcelona. Su trabajo involucra medios tecnológicos, plásticos y escénicos para incidir en la elasticidad de los mecanismos de percepción y reflexionar sobre la construcción de la realidad.

En sus proyectos se apropia de dispositivos espaciales tradicionales para dotarlos de tecnología interactiva invitando de esta forma al público a participar en procesos sólo aparentemente conocidos. En sus trabajos destaca un especial interés por suvertir la lógica temporal y espacial de la percepción ofreciendo así narrativas alternativas y libres.

Actualmente realiza proyectos de investigación de creación de espacios inmersivos sirviéndose de software especialmente diseñado  para manipular la captura de cámaras en directo. Trabaja en el Centro Multimedia del CENART de México DF con una beca de residencia del FONCA y CONACULTA.

Her work involves technological, plastics and scenic means to affect the elasticity of the mechanisms of perception and reflect on the construction of reality.

In her projects she appropriates traditional spatial devices to give them interactive technology thus inviting the public to participate in processes known only apparently. In her work she highlights a special interest in subverting temporal logic and spatial perception, offering this way free and alternative narratives.

Currently she conducts research projects to create immersive spaces making use of specially designed software to manipulate the live camera capture. She works in the Multimedia Center of CENART in Mexico City with a scholarship from FONCA and CONACULTA.

Me agarro a la duda con toda la seguridad de la que dispongo. Me pregunto qué es ver y si vemos sesgado. Y me digo que sí. Y me pregunto cómo afecta a nuestro sentido de la vida este engaño. Y me cuestiono cómo afecta a nuestras relaciones más íntimas y también las sociales.

Me dedico a esto porque me parece que de todas las mentiras que nos construyen es una de las más dignas. Para mi el acto creativo no es mas que un modo de poner en evidencia el mecanismo de construcción de realidad. En mis piezas propongo un juego interactivo, donde el espectador tiene que implicarse físicamente. Ofrezco un desafío y doy las claves para descifrar este dispositivo. Entonces me retiro pronunciando ‘abracadabra’ y dejo que el público descubra que el sentido es múltiple y que sólo de él depende escoger uno u otro, todos o ninguno.

I grab doubt with all the security I have. I wonder what it is to see and if we see slanted. And I say yes. And I wonder how this deception affects our meaning of life. And I wonder how it affects our most intimate relationships as much as the socials.

I do this because I believe that out of all the lies we build this is one of the worthiest. For me, the creative act is nothing more than a way to bring out the mechanism of construction of reality. In my pieces I propose an interactive game, where the viewer has to engage physically. I offer a challenge and give the keys to unlock this device. Then I retreat saying ‘abracadabra’ and let the public discover that the meaning is multiple and that it depends only on them to choose one or the other, all or none.
